Skeeter’s Mesquite Grill

Skeeter's Mesquite Grill is owned and operated by Houston-based Adair Family Restaurants. Gary Adair and his wife Betsy opened their first Skeeter's restaurant in West University in 1988. Since then, Skeeter's has expanded across Houston with a total of six locations serving up fresh ingredients and Tex-Mex goodness to Houstonians.

Skeeter’s is known for pleasing kids and parents alike with its laid-back atmosphere and smoky South Texas grub. We've been hailed as the ultimate after-game spot for sports teams, and an ideal lunch place for the business crowd. The wood-burning mesquite grill achieves Skeeter's hallmark flavors on succulent burgers, chicken and beef fajitas, and tacos. Tex-Mex favorites such as enchiladas and burritos, as well as large salads and sandwiches round out the menu.

With strong ties to Houston, Skeeter's Mesquite Grill continues to thrive on the principles of fresh food at a reasonable price and great customer service. Our managers take pride in knowing their patrons and delivering to each neighborhood’s unique needs.

About Adair Family Restaurants

Adair Family Restaurants is a family-owned, Houston-based restaurant group that opened its first restaurant, Skeeters Mesquite Grill, in 1988. Over the past 22 years, Skeeter's expanded with five other locations around Houston.

In 2000, Adair Family Restaurants acquired one of Houston's oldest Tex-Mex establishments, Los Tios Mexican Restaurant. Los Tios has been a staple in the local restaurant scene since 1970.
