Adair Family Restaurants is a family-owned, Houston-based restaurant group that opened its first restaurant, Skeeters Mesquite Grill, in 1988. Over the past 22 years, Skeeter's expanded with five other locations around Houston. In 2000, Adair Family Restaurants acquired one of Houston's oldest Tex-Mex establishments, Los Tios Mexican Restaurant. Los Tios has been a staple in the local restaurant scene since 1970.
Skeeter's Mesquite Grill is owned and operated by Houston-based Adair Family Restaurants. Gary Adair and his wife Betsy opened their first Skeeter's restaurant in West University in 1988. Since then, Skeeter's has expanded across Houston with a total of six locations serving up fresh ingredients and Tex-Mex goodness to Houstonians.
