There
is little that Houstonians are more passionate about than
their Tex-Mex cuisine. Tex-Mex, The Food of the Border, is
a sacred culinary tradition … a necessity. And for more than
30 years, Houstonians have enjoyed their “Tex-Mex fix” at Los
Tios Mexican Restaurants.
"Food of the Border" favorites include
mesquite grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, nachos, chalupas,
chile con queso over puff shell, tamales, burritos and quesadillas.
Los Tios' Frozen Margarita made with top-shelf tequila is
known to be Houston's first.
The first Los
Tios opened in southwest Houston in 1970. Through
the years devoted diners have made Los Tios a
tradition handed down among generations. Favorite tables,
favorite waiters and, most importantly, favorite dishes have
become rituals with Houstonians who have named Los
Tios “Houston’s Best Tex-Mex”!
